Mariner Exchange is still on the move! If you’ve seen any of my previous postings you might recall that Mariner Exchange connects service facilities and technicians with boaters in need of quality and fair work. Most of us at Waterway Guide have been around boats a long time and one of the biggest challenges we often face is finding quality and trusted service operations – especially in unfamiliar places. Mariner Exchange is building a great service to help boaters and service technicians connect.

Here’s the latest:

They initially launched an iOS app and started with a few repair professionals in the Chesapeake Bay. Since then, they have released an Android version and have added hundreds of facilities, repair professionals and features.

Last week, Mariner Exchange announced even more news. They unveiled a new web platform, expanded coverage to the West Coast, and partnered with the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC). Boat owners can now browse over 4,000 marine service providers to find mechanical, electrical, structural and many other services.

Their new web platform brings all the app features of finding repair and service work to MarinerExchange.com. Search by repair category and location to find service yards, read reviews from other boaters and biographies of the owners, and research details about the facility and operations.

So, when you’re in need of repair services, electronic upgrades, canvas work, a captain or anything boat-related – give MarinerExchange a shot. They are committed to making it easy for you to find what you need. On iOS, Android and online!
